GOLD WEEK on Money Talks radio today

Michael Campbell's weekly radio show (Money Talks) was interesting today, as the central theme for the entire show was our favorite sector - GOLD.

Mike set up a separate web page to feature articles about gold (click title of post to link to it).

Regular guest, Mike Levy, owner of Border Gold talked about how to acquire physical gold.

And Michael repeatedly brought up the question I've been asking each week our my own podcast, Week in Review with Lou - what are going to be the end results of this bailout mentality and printing of infinite quantities of money that has gripped governments, especially the U.S..??? What I find most amazing is that noone has the guts to confront President Barack Obama about this. He's handed out, or committed other people's money to hand out - in the order of $6.5 TRILLION in just 100 days. How will spending tomorrow's earnings going to impact us all down the road? I guess we will just have to wait to find out after it's too late to do a damn thing about it.

Then again, there are a could things we investors can do shield themselves that we have been talking about in EGS - such as holding various forms of gold and shorting long term government bonds (via inverse ETFs).

Anyway, Mike has put together a number of interesting items at his site you may want to visit today. And you can listen to today's show by visiting the Audio Vault at CKNW. The show begins at 8:30 am and goes to 10:00 am.

The first half hour is his weekly political rant, often the best part of the program.
