Yudhoyono breaks fuel subsidy pledge (Sydney Morning Hearld May 25)

"INDONESIAN fuel prices rose by 33 per cent to 6000 rupiah (or 66 cents) a litre yesterday, as President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono broke a pledge to avoid such a rise before next year's elections."
